(Multiply 6 by 4)

There are 3 roses in each pot.
How many roses were there altogether?

8 x 3 = 24

There were 24 roses altogether.

(3) Weiming has 7 boxes.
He puts 5 chicks in each box.

7 x 5 = 35

There are 35 chicks altogether.

(4) There are 4 chairs in a row.
How many chairs are there in 2 rows?

She plants the sunflower seeds equally in each pot.
How many sunflower seeds are there in each pot?

35 ÷ 5 = 7

She gives the apple pies to some children.
Each child receives 5 apple pies.
How many children are there?

40 ÷ 5 = 8

Each doll has 3 dresses.
